Designed by Pb Elemental Architecture, The a contemporary hous which built with the main principle on how to create a modern house on tight budget. The client is a large family and still growing so the house must have four bedrooms, two bath, living and dining areas, open kitchen, an entry corridor, large storage room, bookshelves for huge book collection, laundry room and closet, all of them must built on 1600 square foot site. The principle design of the house is to make it all transparent each other so it can make the house look larger and relieved, not only at the window elements but also at the stair element design. The result is a beautiful house with minimalist exterior and stunning interior design, the building cost just $167/sf and the footprint is only 790 square feet. Read more

Actually, The House was a Refurbishment of an old house on which the client wanted a swimming pool. A swimming pool inside the house could be an impossible thing to happen. However, because of a client’s desire of having a swimming pool inside the house, The Architect, Manuel Ocana tried to fulfil the need. According to that main need, The architect designed a core building which unite each floor in the house and as well as wide window open element, to sustain a natural light from outside into the house or even into the pool. Combined with circle-stair as a functional element, the home has a wonderful and unique aesthetic interior.
