With that in mind, Studio Junction, a Toronto based architecture firm, had brilliantly found a solution to that issue by modernizing the concept of “infill neighborhood” with this amazing courtyard design. Designed by Pb Elemental Architecture, The a contemporary hous which built with the main principle on how to create a modern house on tight budget. The client is a large family and still growing so the house must have four bedrooms, two bath, living and dining areas, open kitchen, an entry corridor, large storage room, bookshelves for huge book collection, laundry room and closet, all of them must built on 1600 square foot site. The principle design of the house is to make it all transparent each other so it can make the house look larger and relieved, not only at the window elements but also at the stair element design. The result is a beautiful house with minimalist exterior and stunning interior design, the building cost just $167/sf and the footprint is only 790 square feet. Read more
