Designed by Mutsue Hayakusa Cell Space Architects, The House which is called Villa-K, was built with Stage style. This is the type of home built while taking into consideration the connection between indoors and exterior. Large windows offer unobstructed views of the near by forest. Villa K has no less than four roofs, situated at different levels, which is a very interesting architecture approach. Unexpected angles can characterize the overall appearance of this contemporary residence. The interiors are spacious and airy, with stylish and modern furniture. Elegant indoor stairs connect the levels of the home, creating a fun and unusual living space. Wood is present, complementing the general white color palette of the home. Read more

DECONSTRUCTION CORNER HOUSE

Today we are back with more pictures on its unusual architecture and with something extra regarding its interior design. The project is called “Reflection of Mineral” and belongs to Japanese architect Yasuhiro Yamashi from Atelier Tekuto. Located not far from the center of Tokyo, the contemporary 480 sq ft (44 sq m) residence breaks the architecture rules its surroundings. The amazing abstract shape was designed very efficiently, making use of the little space. Every angle of site brings with it a different view. Fashion Store Interior

Designed by Deardesign, the store which was located in L’illa Diagonal shopping mall, offered an inspirational interior of fashion store. The main characteristic of this store is the wall that comprises 1,000 uniquely shaped wooden panels held together by 2,400 screws. The store interior features exposed concrete columns, industrial-like resin flooring and simple, unfinished wooden benches. The display room was so friendly and cozy. This flagship store combined the several different style minimalistic, industrial and have a touch of the contemporary in its architecture. Read more

Hardest thing to do when you have an undersized environment to live in, is to actually make the whole thing look larger. The idea is to make the most of your open space to create an airy effect in your dwelling. However if not handled well, your house may not look appealing anymore. With that in mind, Studio Junction, a Toronto based architecture firm, had brilliantly found a solution to that issue by modernizing the concept of “infill neighborhood” with this amazing courtyard design. Designed by Pb Elemental Architecture, The a contemporary hous which built with the main principle on how to create a modern house on tight budget. The client is a large family and still growing so the house must have four bedrooms, two bath, living and dining areas, open kitchen, an entry corridor, large storage room, bookshelves for huge book collection, laundry room and closet, all of them must built on 1600 square foot site. The principle design of the house is to make it all transparent each other so it can make the house look larger and relieved, not only at the window elements but also at the stair element design. The result is a beautiful house with minimalist exterior and stunning interior design, the building cost just $167/sf and the footprint is only 790 square feet. Read more
