Ellipse 1501 House

The Ellipse 1501 House designed by Antonino Cardillo, is both astounding and awe inspiring. Built on a hillside somewhere in Italy, Cardillo the grey blob has an enormous interior, with the curve sweeping across the central hall. Very much different from the ubiquitous timber strips in Asian Tropical architecture, seen in this part of the region, the smooth exterior of the Ellipse 1501 house provides a much welcome relieve with its sculptural form.
