Bathroom Lighting Tips


In the bathroom, you need plenty of even, shadow-free lighting for shaving, grooming, and applying makeup. In small bathrooms, mirror lights will illuminate the entire room, but in larger bathrooms, an additional ceiling fixture is needed for general lighting. A recessed infrared heat lamp will give you added warmth on chilly mornings.

Glassfibre Reinforce Cement (GRC)

Glassfiber Reinforce Cement Board or well known as GRC compound of gypsum, cement, sand and fiber so that it’s powerful, light in weight and high flexibility for design modification. GRC didn’t contain of asbestos, so that it is safe for people health. GRC also resistant to fungus, climate, termites, water penetration, fire-resistant for an hour collision-resistant until 170kg/cm2 and also soundproof. GRC board surface which is flat, soft and white colored, make it easy for fininshing process. The board can be painted directly and easily with bright result. The material could be durable and hold out for 25 – 30 years old. Standard dimension of GRC Board is 1.22 x 2.44 metres long, 4-15 milimetres depth and 20-40 kilograms weight, but can be customized easily depend on the need of design. That’s why there are a lot of restaurants or latest high-buildings use this material for their exterior decoration element. However, in spite of its powerful characteristics, GRC can not become a bearing wall like a column.
