Designed by Artemide, Rose Lovegrove, Artemide Solar Tree was become a new inspirational idea of landmark. It can be put on the main streen of the town and really catchy. Artemide has expanded its lighting technology and prowess to the streets, where the Solar Tree is taking hold in municipalities that are looking for ways to conserve energy and save money. Though it resembles a plant from outer space, the 18-foot green steel stalks connect 38 mini solar panels to individual LED lamps that collect solar power during the day. At night the panels bring brilliant illumination to the streets below for an energy conscious urban lighting solution.

The mansion is studded with 12,000 khz worth of solar panels - that’s an 11 kw system with dual-sided panels. It’s also stocked with LED lights and built with insulated concrete and spray-foam insulation with R-values of up to 50. It’s outfitted with a natural gas-powered heating and cooling system and a solar water heater. It’s got windows with low-emission coatings and mechanized sunshades to shield some of the desert sun. Emerging from behind its high boundary wall, the distorted roof form of Vader House interrupts the symmetrical roof line typical of Fitzroy, and breathes new life into this Victorian Terrace. The Architect try to give ‘a magic touch’ at the building façade by using louvre decoration element around the building, especially at the front of building. So that it can wrap the conservative grid structure indeed and change into dynamic modern style building. Not only the building style, The architect also gave some smart solution for the air circulation inside the building. Latvian architects NRJA constructed this beautiful renovation of an old stone barn in Saka, Latvia. Rather than tear down the stone ruins of the barn, the family wanted to use the exterior wall of the barn as a protective barrier surrounding their new home, both for privacy as well as protection from the wind blowing in off the Baltic Sea. The family also wanted to be able to spend calm days viewing the water and their surrounding meadow from their rooftop deck.
